4.3.3.0262

[Important Notes]
- For the status of QTS updates and maintenance for your NAS model, visit https://www.qnap.com/en/product/eol.php
- When QTS 4.3.x is installed on NAS models running on 64-bit Intel and AMD processors, some applications may not be supported. To check if installed apps on your NAS are compatible with QTS 4.3.x, download the QTS 64-bit compatibility tool and install it on your current QTS build. (https://download.qnap.com/QPKG/CF64_0.1-1114.qpkg.zip)
- QTS 4.3.3 is the final available firmware update for the following models:
TS-112P, TS-212P, TS-212-E, HS-210, TS-112, TS-212, TS-121, TS-221, TS-421 TS-120, TS-220, TS-420, TS-420U, TS-421U TS-412, TS-412U, TS-419U, TS-419U+, TS-419U II, TS-119P II, TS-219P II, TS-419P II, TS-119P+, TS-219P+, TS-419P+, TS-119P, TS-219P, TS-419P, TS-119, TS-219, TS-419

[New Feature]
- Added support for sending notification mails in plain text.
- Added the option to choose whether non-QNAP apps can be installed in the App Center.
- Added the option to execute an autorun script upon NAS startup.
- Added support for mounting remote folders using WebDAV.
- Storage Manager now displays error messages when the SSD cache size exceeds the maximum allowable capacity on the Alpine-ARM-based models.

[Enhancements]
- Improved the compatibility of the third and fourth drive bays on the TS-451A with high-capacity hard drives.
- Users can now take snapshots even when the CPU usage is over 80%.
- Added the ability to automatically update the CPU microcode to fix the hyper-threading issues found in the Intel Skylake and Kaby Lake processors.

[Fixed Issues]
- The domain controller list can correctly display domain controllers that have two assigned DNS IP addresses.
- Storage Manager can correctly display the IQN when users create an iSCSI target.
- Users can create files that have filenames beginning with "._" without encountering unexpected error messages when accessing a shared folder via SMB.
- Photo Station sometimes could not display the photos uploaded to the home folder in "Private Collection".
- The NAS would not have audio output after users updated the QTS version to 4.3.3.0238 20170703.
- Network connection would occasionally time out on the Alpine-based models.
- Copied files would become corrupted when users connected to the NAS via SMB and then copied and pasted files within the same shared folder on an encrypted volume.
- Uploading certain .tif files to the TAS models would cause the NAS to restart and the media folders to disappear.
- The NAS would take snapshots regardless of whether data had been modified even when "smart snapshot" was enabled.
- RTRR FTP backup jobs from a QNAP NAS to a non-QNAP NAS would take longer than expected.
- Backup Station could not display remote folders in a tree view when users created remote-to-local RTRR FTP backup jobs.
- Storage Manager would not display the disk health of the SSDs in the 2.5-inch drive bays.
- Resource Monitor would not display the disk activity of the SSDs in the 2.5-inch drive bays.
- Formatting an external drive while using HybridDesk Station would cause the login screen of HybridDesk Station to disappear.
- The 5th drive bay on the TS-531X could not support SSD cache acceleration.
- The 7th and 8th drive bays on the TS-873 could not support SSD cache acceleration.
- Users could not access or modify the folders and files whose names contained the / character via AFP after updating the QTS version to 4.3.3_20170624.
- Fixed an OS command injection vulnerability in Backup Station.
- On certain ARM models, users could not save any changes made to the files in a mounted shared folder using a Windows PC after the files were modified on a Mac.
- Fixed multiple OS command injection vulnerability in the Control Panel.
- Certain models did not provide the option to select the highest version of SMB.
- Fixed a vulnerability in the Linux kernel that could be exploited to circumvent the stack guard page (CVE-2017-1000364). This fix is available to most NAS models, except for the TS-x69, TS-x31, TS-x31U, TS-x12, TS-x19, TS-x20, and TS-x21.
- Users could not access the content of an encrypted shared folder after locking and then unlocking the folder.
- Temporary folders would appear on the shared folder list when users took a snapshot while restoring a shared folder on Snapshot Manager.
- Fixed a vulnerability in ActiveX controls that could allow for arbitrary code execution on the web client.
- Fixed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Storage Manager.
- Fixed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Backup Station.
- Fixed an "Orpheus' Lyre" vulnerability in Samba that could be exploited to bypass authentication mechanisms. (CVE-2017-11103)
- On certain models, the "RAID Scrubbing" option for legacy volumes on Storage Manager would be grayed out and could not be selected.
- Users sometimes could not connect to the NAS via Samba using the hostname.
- Non-administrator users could delete the files in the Recycle Bin even when they were not granted such permissions.

[Other Changes]
- In this update, RAID scrubbing is automatically scheduled to run on the first day of every month at 02:15. RAID scrubbing checks the data integrity of all RAID 5 and RAID 6 groups on the NAS. Running this check regularly is recommended. Storage performance might be degraded while RAID scrubbing is running. You can modify the schedule at "Storage Manager" > "Global Settings" > "RAID Scrubbing".
- Changed the warning and error log entries created when QTS finds a RAID bad block or bad stripe.
- After updating the NAS managed by Q'center from 4.2.x to 4.3.x, the administrator of Q'center must input the password of each NAS to continue monitoring.
- Virtualization Station
Due to advancements in the backup features, virtual machines created in older versions (1.x/2.x) of Virtualization Station can no longer be backed up and restored in 3.0. (A workaround is to clone an older Virtual Machine; the cloned VM can be backed up/restored, but all original snapshots will be removed)

QTS 4.3.4.0516 build 20180315

[Important Notes]
- To learn about the latest changes for x86-based models in this QTS build, see the [Fixed Issues] section below.
- To ensure system stability, QNAP recommends updating and then restarting QVPN Service in App Center after you update QTS to 4.3.4.
- As QTS previous versions of ARM models do not support snapshots, when you upgrade to QTS 4.3.4, the original volume cannot use this feature immediately. To solve this problem, you have to back up the existing data on your QNAP NAS to external storage. Then you can rebuild the QNAP NAS and take snapshots to the new storage pool with multiple volumes.
- Users can now downgrade QTS on ARM-based models. To downgrade to the target version, first downgrade to QTS 4.3.3.0351 Build 20171023 (or later versions).
- QTS 4.3.4 is the final available firmware update for the following models:
TS-EC1679U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1679U-RP, TS-1679U-RP, TS-EC1279U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1279U-RP, TS-1279U-RP, TS-1079 Pro, TS-EC879U-RP, TS-879U-RP, TS-1270U-RP, TS-870U-RP, TS-470U-RP, TS-470U-SP, TS-1269U-RP, TS-869U-RP, TS-469U-RP, TS-469U-SP, TS-879 Pro, TVS-870, TS-870 Pro, TS-870, TVS-670, TS-670 Pro, TS-670, TVS-470, TS-470 Pro, TS-470, TS-869 Pro, TS-869L, TS-669 Pro, TS-669L, TS-569 Pro, TS-569L, TS-469 Pro, TS-469L, TS-269 Pro, TS-269L, IS-400 Pro.
- For the status of QTS updates and maintenance for your NAS model, visit https://www.qnap.com/en/product/eol.php

[Fixed Issues]
- Updated PHP to the latest version to fix multiple vulnerabilities.
- Enabling Disk Standby Mode would hinder the NAS from reporting disk information via the SNMP service.
- Control Panel could not display the list of domain users.
- The modified dates of files on FAT32 external drives would change after users reconnected the external drives.
- Users could not access Storage & Snapshots via Safari on macOS after updating QTS to 4.3.4.0435 build 20171230.
- Unexpected errors would occur to the system partition after users removed another disk after a RAID rebuild.
- Users could not take snapshots if the usernames of the members in the "administrators" group contained a space.
- The French strings in Storage & Snapshots contained some spelling errors.
- Unexpected error messages would appear when users tried to access shared folders in Qsync Central 3.0.3 after updating QTS to 4.3.4.0483 build 20180213.
- System logs would warn of insufficient space after users enabled Guaranteed Snapshot Space, created thick volumes, and then took snapshots.
- Enabling advanced folder permissions would prevent non-administrators from accessing external storage devices via SMB after users updated QTS to 4.3.4.0483 build 20180213.
- Non-administrators could not access portal folders (for folder aggregation) via Samba after enabling advanced folder permissions.
- After users dragged folders from File Station to the QTS desktop, the created desktop shortcuts would be named "File Station".

Affaire a suivre

QTS 4.3.6.1040 build 20190820

[Important Notes]
- To ensure system functionality, after updating QTS to 4.3.6, please also update Container Station to 1.9 in App Center before enabling QVR Pro.
- The RADVD service previously did not have an outgoing interface. Please reconfigure the RADVD service after upgrading.
- Due to security concerns, support for "Wi-Fi ad-hoc mode" has been removed.
- This QTS update changes the file system of the system partition to ext4 for ARM-based models with Annapurna Labs processors. For data security reasons, you are not able to downgrade QTS to a previous version after this update.
Affected models: TS-131P, TS-231P, TS-431P, TS-531P, TS-231+, TS-431+, TS-231P2, TS-431P2, TS-431X, TS-431X2, TS-531X, TS-831X, TS-1231XU-RP, TS-1231XU, TS-831XU-RP, TS-831XU, TS-431XU-RP, TS-431XU, TS-431XeU, and TS-1635.
- Below are the kernel versions for NAS models that are supported by QTS 4.3.6:
Kernel 3.10.20: TS-128, TS-228
Kernel 3.2.26: TS-x31, TS-x31U
Kernel 3.4.6: TS-x69, TS-x69U, TS-x69L
Kernel 4.2.8: all other models supported by QTS 4.3.6
- Due to the limitations of future kernel updates, QTS 4.3.6 is the final available QTS update for the following NAS models: TS-EC1679U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1679U-RP, TS-1679U-RP, TS-EC1279U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1279U-RP, TS-1279U-RP, TS-1079 Pro, TS-EC879U-RP, TS-879U-RP, TS-1270U-RP, TS-870U-RP, TS-470U-RP, TS-470U-SP, TS-879 Pro, TVS-870, TS-870 Pro, TS-870, TVS-670, TS-670 Pro, TS-670, TVS-470, TS-470 Pro, and TS-470.
- Due to the limitations of non-expandable memory capacity and 32-bit processor architecture, starting from QTS 4.3.6, the TS-128 and TS-228 no longer support Container Station and all the dependent applications, including Notes Station 3, Qcontactz, QcalAgent, AWS Greengrass, and QIoT Suite Lite.

[New features]
QTS Security
- To enhance system security, "IP Access Protection" is enabled by default for the SSH, Telnet, and HTTP(S) protocols.

[Fixed Issues]
- Users could not mount remote Windows FTP folders in File Station.
- Users could not access mounted shared folders via NFS.
- Users could not run executable files after transferring these files from Mac to the NAS via AFP.
- QTS could not detect disks installed on the TR-004 expansion enclosure after users replaced disks.
- Storage pools created on the TR-004 expansion enclosure would be in abnormal status after users updated QTS to 4.3.6.0979 build 20190620.
- Users could not wake the NAS using Qfinder Pro via Wake-on-LAN after updating QTS to 4.3.6.0923 build 20190425.
- Network & Virtual Switch could not correctly display the information of Aquantia AQtion AQN-107 network adapter after users enabled VLAN.
- QTS would not remember guest access permission settings after users updated QTS from earlier versions.
- LDAP user groups would stop accepting LDAP users before the number of users reached the expected limit.
- Administrators' access to WebDAV shared folders would be affected by the access permission settings of guest users.
- Final Cut Pro could not open videos imported from NAS shared folders mounted via NFS.
- The volume serial numbers of network drives would change after users changed the NAS server name.
- Only the user who upload a file could access this file if other QTS users had usernames containing two whitespace characters.
- Storage pools created on the TR-004 expansion enclosure would be in abnormal status after the NAS woke up from sleep mode.

[Known Issues]
- When a TR-002 external RAID enclosure is connected to a USB 3.1 Gen2 port on the NAS, the bus type incorrectly appears as USB 3.0 in the QTS UI. This is a UI problem only, data will actually be transferred at USB 3.1 Gen2 speeds.
- When data is being transferred to or from a QNAP external RAID enclosure, changes to the status of a degraded RAID group might not be visible immediately in Storage & Snapshots.
- When an external RAID group is in degraded mode its read/write performance will be greatly reduced.
- A failed external RAID group may have the status "Unknown" instead of "Failed".

Bonjour a tous

Bon surf a tous

Bonjour a tous

QTS 4.4.1.1146 build 20191206

[Important Notes]
- For the status of QTS updates and maintenance for your NAS model, visit https://www.qnap.com/en/product/eol.php
- We have fixed the vulnerabilities in the following apps to ensure your data security: Surveillance Station, QVPN Service, Qfiling, Qsync Central, QcalAgent, and IFTTT Agent. To continue using these apps, go to the App Center and update them to the latest version.
- For more information on the kernel versions for NAS models that QTS 4.4.1 supports, see https://www.qnap.com/en/release-note/kernel
- Removed the following applications from App Center due to PHP 7 updates in QTS 4.4.1: "phpEasyProject", "Dolphin", "CMS Made Simple", "Vtiger CRM", "iStat", "PostgreSQL 9.3.13.3", and "ownCloud".
- Due to PHP 7 updates in QTS 4.4.1, PostgreSQL 9.3.13.3 can no longer work with phpPgAdmin. If you use phpPgAdmin to manage your data, ensure that you have exported the data before updating QTS. To transfer your data from PostgreSQL 9.3.13.3 to 11.4.1, you must manually export and then import the data.
- Due to compatibility issues, the following applications have been removed from the App Center in QTS 4.4.1: FileFlex, MantisBT, SugarCRM, Xeams, and DokuWiki.
- Once you update QTS to 4.4.1 (or later) on the TS-1635AX, you will not be able to downgrade QTS to versions earlier than 4.4.1.
- Removed support for Plex Home Theater from HybridDesk Station.

[New features]
VJBOD Cloud
- VJBOD Cloud now supports configuring resource settings for each connection.
- VJBOD Cloud now supports forcing a cloud volume or LUN to transfer from a malfunctioning NAS to another NAS.
- VJBOD Cloud now supports encrypting cloud volumes.
- VJBOD Cloud now supports expanding cloud volumes.
- VJBOD Cloud now supports the DigitalOcean cloud service.

Storage management
- Added support for the external RAID device QDA-U2MP.

[Fixed Issues]
- The output of the "/proc/meminfo" command would still include non-zero writeback memory values after iSCSI storage tests were completed.
- PPPoE would not be selected as the system default gateway even when users completed the PPPoE configuration.
- Some 4K photos uploaded to the NAS would be upside down when users enabled "Generate large thumbnails for high-resolution displays" in Multimedia Console.
- On macOS, QNAP External RAID Manager would show the status of the TR-004 as "unrecognized" even though users could access files on the TR-004.
- Users without access permissions could still access restricted folders in Photo Station.
- Users could not upload large files to the Google Drive cloud service mounted in File Station.
- Administrator users that were not "admin" could not download files in Snapshot Manager.
- VLAN interfaces could not obtain IP addresses on the ARM-based models with Annapurna Labs processors.
- File creation dates would change after users modified and saved files via Samba.
- The CPU-Z benchmark for Windows 10 virtual machines on the TDS-16489U was lower than expected.
- Users could not download files from Qsync team folders in File Station.
- QTS would stop responding when users copied a volume snapshot, and the cloned volume would have the same name as the original volume.
- Users could not create share link for Qsync team folders in File Station.
- Storage & Snapshots could not display the statistics for Qtier auto-tiering.
- Storage & Snapshots would stop responding when users browsed the Snapshot section using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
- System sound volume would sometimes reach the maximum value after users installed Media Streaming Add-on and then restarted the NAS.
- Share links created in File Station would not include external port numbers.
- An unexpected discrepancy between the NAS system time and the actual device time would cause the 2-step verification to fail.
